License to Carry Firearms  The process is easier than you think.

Learning the laws regulating the use of firearms is a must for responsible ownership. Local regulations differ and laws vary from state to state. Citizens must check with the jurisdiction where the gun is to be used.

The Sheriff and his staff are required to follow strict state guidelines when performing the necessary background checks for License to Carry Firearms. Due to the nature of the detailed due diligence, appointment times and processing times can take multiple weeks. 

A License to Carry Firearms can be obtained from the county sheriff of your county of residence.

Upon submitting an application through this site, you will be responsible for all fees associated. If denied by PA Insta Check or by failure to answer any questions appropriately, $15 will be refunded. This reflects an administrative fee of $5 that will be kept by the Sheriff's Office per State Statute and any service fees kept by Permitium.

*Once your LTC is approved, you have to come into the office within 10 days.
